leosfranco, não sou amante do literal. O Arnaldo, em compensação, ama a generalização. Especialmente com a classe média. O que ele critica nesse artigo acontece em todas as classes sociais. Acreditar que essa visão torta que ele aponta é exclusiva da classe média é ser muito medíocre. Ou então apostar numa visão monocromática das coisas, algo que muitos criticam (inclusive eu) em gente feito o Reinaldo Azevedo, mas que não enxergam em gente “ishperta” feito o Arnaldo.

Deve ser mal de humorista achar que toda generalização é potencialmente cômica.

A classe média sofre de síndrome de caçula? Sofre, mas e aí? Tem como se sentir de outra forma? Que tipo de engajamento social nós podemos ter que vá nos fazer perder essa síndrome?
Vamos tomar como exemplo o ex-governador Anthony Garotinho. O cara sucateou o estado, permitiu a proliferação das milícias, iniciou uma verdadeira farra de criação de ongs (com objetivo de sonegar os impostos de renda dele e dos cúmplices), colocou o capo mafioso Álvaro Lins como secretário de segurança do Rio, permitindo que um estado de caos, violência e corrupção nunca antes vistos se instaurasse no estado, entre inúmeras outras atrocidades. Foi cassado duas vezes e, no entanto, o cara consegue se reeleger como deputado federal, super bem votado, PELO MESMO POVO QUE TOMOU NO MEIO DO CÚ em seus 8 anos de governo (garotinho + rosinha).
O que eu faço com esse cara, Arnaldo? O que eu faço com os idiotas que votaram nesse cara? Impeachment não vai funcionar, já que o povo acabou de o eleger. Ir conversar com ele e apelar para a dignidade dele não adianta, porque ele não tem dignidade alguma. Se eu matar o cara, vou preso. Se eu encher a cara dele de porrada, vou preso. Se eu sequer o ameaçar, vou preso. O que eu faço? Que opções de engajamento social eu tenho que vão fazer com que eu deixe de ser uma donzela indefesa nas mãos do estado, Arnaldo? Abro um blog?

Gostei da explanação do Lucas, mas senti uma certa resignação, o que não deixa de ser um diagnóstico sincero sobre uma classe média cada vez mais apavorada e alienada. (nessa ordem)
Acredito que a ’sociedade’ na verdade é um pacto de hipocrisia enorme, abrigando grupos de interesses que concedem uma pequena margem de manobra entre si, apenas o suficiente para represar um grande colapso social.

a diferença principal entre seus comentários e o do lucas, para mim, é: ele assumiu de cara, no segundo parágrafo, que sentiu que o texto foi endereçado a pessoas como ele. não ficou dando voltas.
além disso, o lucas apresentou justificativas por sentir-se acometido pela síndrome que o arnaldo citou. e ainda passou a bola pro arnaldo com a pergunta: tem como sentir de outra forma?
por outro lado você, dias, preferiu um caminho diferente, acusatório. focou no arnaldo e no que, na sua cabeça, o teria motivado a escrever críticas à classe média.
e o argumento de generalização não convenceu.
resumindo, se o arnaldo não foi feliz em seu texto, você também não estava nos seus melhores dias, dias.

mauro, é questão de gosto. Eu morria de rir com os ataques do Caco Antibes à “pobreza”, até porque o próprio Miguel Falabella, por sua origem, tinha conhecimento de causa. Quem é classe média certamente se reconheceu nos exageros e nos hábitos medíocres que ele espezinhava no “Sai de Baixo”.
Foi uma das primeiras ocasiões em que aprendi a rir de situações nas quais eu me encaixava, em vez de rir apenas do alheio.
Se você não achava graça no personagem, ótimo. Agora, se acha que era preconceito puro o que ele representava, não sei o que é humor para você.
Não faz diferença se eu estava nos meus melhores dias (que trocadalho ruim, hein?).
O texto que escrevi sobre a brodagem é muito melhor do que o sobre calçada x boteco, mas o primeiro praticamente não foi comentado, ao contrário do segundo.
O artigo do Arnaldo não se dirige a mim. Não sou desses que, conforme ele citou, votou pelo direito de portar armas de fogo e afirmou que o exerceria. Posso nunca pretender possuir uma arma, mas quero esse direito à minha disposição e à de quem seja capaz e esteja preparado para tanto. Essa visão que ele tem é típica de quem não sabe diferenciar direito de dever - lembra muito os que defendem o voto facultativo dizendo que, hoje, o voto é uma obrigação.
A partir daí, o texto do Arnaldo fica medíocre e sem nenhuma graça. Ao contrário da primeira frase, que é simplesmente idiota.
O seu último comentário resume bem o que eu penso sobre esse artigo do Arnaldo, que, obviamente, está lendo tudo isso que vem acima, mas se acha superior demais para responder.
Por zoar quase sempre só a classe média, o Arnaldo às vezes, pretendendo fazer humor, produz apenas canalhice.
E não sou acusador. Afinal, não disseram que a Dilma, em um dos debates recentes, não foi agressiva, e sim “assertiva”?
Portanto, fui assertivo.

mauro, preciso esclarecer que apenas a primeira temporada do “Sai de Baixo” era realmente boa. A segunda e a terceira tiveram bons episódios, e a partir daí a coisa degringolou.
Compreenda que eu tinha 12 anos quando o programa começou. Portanto, a nostalgia conta muito. O Monty Phyton, por exemplo, é um pilar do humor universal. Mas não consigo achar graça de tudo o que já vi deles. Certos esquetes são absolutamente sem graça. O que não me impede de reconhecer a grandeza deles.
Quanto ao “Sai de Baixo”, o texto era irregular, sem um redator-chefe com personalidade e pulso firme, e muitos episódios eram inassistíveis de tão chatos. Porém, o carisma dos atores, a empatia com aqueles personagens destrambelhados e a sensação de familiaridade que o programa me proporcionava não me fará considerar “Sai de Baixo” uma porcaria, ainda que você o considere sem inteligência.
E desde quando ter inteligência é requisito sine qua non para um programa de humor? Ri-se de coisas ridículas e imbecis. E, pelas risadas, vale praticamente tudo.
Agora, o que você quis dizer com “e que explica muita coisa aqui”?

Dias sempre segue nas discussões que rolam pelos posts pela via de que quando alguém com uma visão libertária coloca a sua opinião sobre alguns aspectos da sociedade, é determinista, fala que generalizam tudo e que são relativistas, saída pela tangente de quem se nega a debater e pior ainda analisar a fundo qualquer questão de âmbito social.
Dias suas críticas também são pré moldadas?

Félix Manso, pior que não. A fôrma das minhas críticas pode ser irregular, mas jamais são pré-moldadas.
Posso até ficar na minha quando leio um texto muito bem escrito e não tenho nada a acrescentar. Mas quando um texto me desagrada, é difícil eu ficar calado.
“Trololó canalha” é meio pesado, não?
Antes eu fosse um vendilhão. Eu trabalho praticamente de graça na Zé Pereira, comento de graça e fico ouvindo desaforos de graça (não que eu reclame disso, mas algumas grosserias passam do limite do razoável). Se eu lucrasse alguma coisa respondendo a criaturas da sua laia, eu aceitaria ser chamado de vendilhão.
De que terceira via você está falando? Você é adepto de alguma das primeiras? Pelo mofo que recende do seu comentário, até sei a qual via você está filiado.
O Arnaldo errou a mão nesse artigo, mas você, ao falar “dessa parcela da classe média altamente hipócrita, autoritária e abobalhada por muita novela da Globo”, errou o corpo inteiro.
Se sofro de alguma síndrome, seria a de Goiânia querendo ser São Paulo.

quando digo inteligência, me refiro na concepção e execução da peça de humor. não em seu conteúdo. chaves, por exemplo, é inteligente, mas está longe de ser hermético.

quando eu disse que o fato de você gostar de sai de baixo e caco antibes explicar muita coisa, significa que você tem uma determinada concepção de humor. essa concepção é, entre outros fatores que desconheço, o que faz com que você aja com tem agido aqui e em outros blogs.
não vou ficar dando exemplo concreto, apenas este: sua insistência em que o zé josé lesse reinaldo azevedo e, diante da resistência deste, retrucar que “sabe, ler autores com quem não concordamos é salutar”, ou algo assim. isso é risível e você parece não perceber. porque, apesar de inteligente, você é ingênuo.
a mesma ingenuidade em acreditar que as pessoas nos comentários te levam tão a sério quanto você se leva, te fazia rir de sai de baixo, acredito.

Quando falei do Reinaldo Azevedo ao Zé, em parte foi por provocação, em parte esperando que ele usasse outra justificativa para não lê-lo além de “chato”. Não sei o que há de risível em dizer que não devemos ler apenas autores com os quais concordamos. Eu não impus nada a ninguém, nem teria o direito de fazê-lo. Se você tem a mesma implicância com o Reinaldo, seu comentário, nesse ponto, é que é risível.
Quisera eu ser verdadeiramente ingênuo.
É totalmente fora de propósito você associar a minha suposta falta de ironia com o fato de eu rir, no passado, do “Sai de Baixo”.
Só acho que vários aqui, pensando serem irônicos, são um bando de posers.

Cara, eu votei pelo direito de comprar armas de fogo em 2005, mas jamais compraria uma para uso em casa. Da mesma forma, votaria pelo casamento gay, mesmo sem pensar em casar com um homem, ou pela descriminalização da maconha, mesmo sem pensar em queimar um. É mais para proteger a esfera individual, pois o Estado brasileiro acha que tem de tratar todos como criancinhas. E também para evitar mais uma hipocrisia, como a de achar que proibir as compras legais de armas vai se acabar com a violência; ou que proibir os casamento gay vai evitar que eles formem casais; ou, ainda, que proibir a maconha vai evitar que os usuários a comprem e a fumem por aí.
